Fluoroscopic-Guided Hip Injection is a non-operative, out-patient pain relief procedure used to treat patients with pain caused by arthritis of the hip joint. Utilizing real-time x-ray, or fluoroscopy, a needle inserts contrast dye into the joint and it helps to accurately administer the medication. Then, a numbing and anti-inflammatory medication is injected to treat the painful joint.
