The 5th annual Hayden’s Heart 5K this past weekend was a big success. Dedicated runners, walkers, kids, and babies in strollers came together to raise congenital heart defect (CHD) awareness and honor Hayden’s birthday. While most people come for the 5K, it is so much more. It is a celebration filled with food, activities, and a large birthday dedication to Hayden. Over the years, Hayden’s Heart has raised tens of thousands of dollars for families with children that have some form of CHD. This year’s proceeds benefited Aylin Conil and Family of North Bergen.
Our Metropolitan Pain Consultants booth was there to show support for all participants and included free give aways and a raffle for an iPad Mini. The iPad winner will be announced Friday, March 31 right here on our website and our Facebook page. We are happy to support and help raise awareness for such an amazing non-profit organization. If you were there and would like to connect with us, you can reach us on our Facebook page and our Twitter page.
